Challenger Cars - Dates, Rules, Regulations & Fees

Saturday July 4 th , Sunday July 5 th - Gates Open at 11am, Cars must go to the Pit Registration, for

Inspection & Registration for that day they race, and must be ready to Race at 1pm.

($70 Reg. Fee per vehicle includes daily admission of $30 and $40 into the purse for payouts)

1. Saturday, July 4 th , 5 lap Heats and 10 lap Features will be run in 4 & 6-cylinder classes only, NO 8-cylinder class.

Features will have payouts to fifth place, depending on entrants, and only 1st place trophies for Features and Enduro. No

driver changes when event begins. The 25 lap Enduro, will have $1,000 + trophy, 1st place winner only! Sunday, July 5 th ,

25 lap Shoot-Out, 1 st place winner will have $1,000 + trophy only, payouts to fifth place, depending on entrants.

2. Driver must be 18 years or older, be wearing racing wrist band, and age definition wristband for that day.

3. Driver must supply one person to score (for lap counting).

4. Two-wheel drive vehicles only, NO 4WD. Engine must be stock with no alterations.

5. Drivers are not allowed to consume alcohol or be under the influence of drugs while participating in the racing events.

NO alcohol or glass in the pits. Pit rules will be posted.

6. All lights, moldings, plastics, etc. must be removed. All mirrors, windows and glass must be removed completely.

Windshield must be removed and a reinforced screen put in place to protect the driver. Driver side window net required.

7. Roll cage is mandatory (At least a 4-point cage required, use proper materials, think safety).

8. All racers must have a 4-point-type racing approved seatbelt, 2 shoulder straps and lap belt mandatory and worn by

driver at all times. (5-point racing harness is recommended).

9. Driver must wear a full-faced DOT approved helmet, and proper eye protection.

10. Driver must wear long sleeves, pants, gloves, and proper shoes (NO Nylon cloths, and fire suit is recommended).

11. Doors, Trunks, Hood and Bumpers should be chained or welded Extra Reinforcement, inside/outside of Drivers

door, have stock bumpers ONLY.

12. Recommended, Non-flammable padding should be installed in the driver side door frame.

13. 12” hole in center of hood, or hood pins for easy access of fire extinguisher (Remove hood latch, install hood pins).

14. No alteration or reinforcement of frame or body except for driver side door bracing should be, back of front fender

to front of back fender, to make an outside door rail.

15. Gas tank may remain in original position, with no leaks, or strapped in the trunk with at least four one-inch steel straps

(no bungee cords, rope, etc.). If installing fuel tank in the trunk, the rear seat and shelf area must be enclosed with steel or

aluminum to form a safe firewall (Racing fuel tank recommended).

16. Batteries may be moved to passenger side floor area, but must be securely fastened.

17. Tires for passenger vehicles only. No Studded, Racing, or Truck tires permitted.

18. Driver must have fire extinguisher, and folding knife securely strapped for easy access.

19. All cars must be numbered on both sides, and be at least 16” high and clearly visible to officials, and on roof read

from right side if possible (If duplicate numbers, an A, B, or C. will be assigned as needed).

20. No profanity on cars. All cars must be removed after race day, or they will be crushed.

During any event held at Baker Hill Motor Sports LLC, all guests must comply with the following rules and regulations, failure to follow rules may result in you being told to leave, or in some circumstances, the authorities could be contacted. This is Private Property!

1. NO Professional photographers, unless prior approval by owners.

2. ATV. UTV or Golf Carts are not permitted, unless they are properly registered for property riding.(See ATV rules on Website cornfield500.info or posted at ATV Registration Area).

3. All guests must purchase your Daily Admission wristbands & wear at all times while on the property.

4. Admission must be purchased in order to camp on the property. All individuals entering the property - including entrants, vendors, staff, performers & security - must read, understand and sign the waiver. NO exceptions.

5. Underage drinking and all illegal activities are strictly prohibited on the property. If any underage individual is caught consuming, or transporting alcohol on the property, the State Police will be notified and will handle the situation.

6. NO Fighting - Any individual too intoxicated or causing disturbances, will be escorted off the property.

7. NO Smoking in the barn. NO one allowed in Restricted/VIP areas without a valid VIP wristband, or Security personnel. Smoking or vaping is prohibited in Spectator Areas, Food Vendor Areas or anywhere Children are present. (Please use designated Smoking Areas only. And be respectful of others Health and Well-being).

8. Pit Area Restrictions: Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Pit Area, unless accompanied by a legal adult, and must possess a valid Pit Pass. (NO Alcohol is permitted in the Pit Area; NO Glass containers are allowed anywhere on Property. Be aware of Flammables).

9. Performers/Drivers are strictly prohibited from being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while performing or racing.

10. NO outside food in spectator area, Permitted at camping or parking area. food vendors on site.

11. B.Y.O.B. is permitted on Property, Except Pit Area during racing, (NO GLASS).

12. NO Pets allowed, unless restrained at your own campsite or parking area.

13. Fire Pit Safety: NO Nails, Glass, Rocks or Metal Items in fire pits, (these are hay/corn fields).

14. NO bare feet. Proper footwear must be worn for your own safety, especially while riding or driving.

$20 - Vehicle Weekend Pass is required for these vehicles at the Cornfield 500/250, and can be purchased in the Camping Registration Area. Riders must have purchased event admission, read, understood, and signed the waiver to ride.

1. The Registration Pass will entitle you to ride all weekend, which is July 4 th , thru July 5 th , on the BHMS Property only. Must keep Pass on Vehicle at all times while at the event.

2. Please do not remove or destroy signs for ATV information. Do not ride onto neighbor’s property that is posted, and do not ride along RR racks, or on Race Track, unless there is time for a Happy Hour.

3. Only ride on trails and areas designated for these vehicles, and NOT in the Racing Spectator Area.

4. When riding in camping, parking, or by pedestrians, please keep speed at 5mph, and be cautious and courteous. Watch out for children, and other vehicles.

5. Obey ATV rules posted, for speed limits and directions.

6. Public roads are illegal to ride, and if you do, it is at your own risk (Police are usually around).

7. If you appear to be intoxicated or causing problems, you will lose your Registration and not be able to ride that vehicle on the property any longer, and if you give security a hard time after a warning, you will be removed from the property. Remember there are lots of kids and people here. BHMS Staff, and Security will be overseeing all ATV activities.

8. No Alcohol or Drug use while operating ATV, for safety of yourself & others. DOT approved helmet, and eye protection is Recommended and NO open toed shoes.

9. No one under 16 operating vehicles, unless accompanied by legal guardian.

10. No more than 1 person on vehicle if racing or if required on vehicle.

11. Vehicles will only be allowed at the Track Wash Station for vehicle mud removal, only during designated, after race track events are done. Watch out for People and Vehicles.

12. No riding on Rail Road Tracks, Race Track, Jumps, Spectator area, or neighbors property.

There will be Side by Side Racing, but these are selected racers for a Show. (No Open Registration for these Races)

If there is time left after all racing for the day is over, there will be an Open Ride on the track, called a Happy Hour. The rules above apply for track riding (closed toed shoes, helmet and eye protection is required).

There will be a sign up for the launching of Baker Hill Tri-County ATV Club, for Warren, Erie and Crawford County. This is a NEW Club, (Fighting for Rights to Ride, Bringing Tourism into our Communities, Raising Money and Awareness for Several Charities and Causes).
